Bug people!
Mary-Kate Olsen and Ashley Olsen attend the opening of "Lend Me A Tenor" at the Music Box Theatre in New York City apparently in Chanel.
To be perfectly honest, these pictures almost rendered us speechless. Thankfully, it was only temporary and we got our bitchy voices back long enough to say "WHAT. THE. FUCK?"
Look, we don't live in their world. In fact, we don't think anyone else lives in the world that they do. They have been famous since birth and leveraged that into a tweener empire long enough to make them ridiculously wealthy for the rest of their lives. You know, THAT old story.
Our point is, we can accept that these two pixies are strange and considering their biographies, that's to be expected. We never minded their unusual fashion sense because we thought it was of a piece with their personae. For whatever reasons, these two talentless children of the corn fascinate people and they always have. We think their personal style is a response to that. Why else would they dress like eccentric dowagers right our of their teen years?
This time, however, we can't really offer anything supportive to say about these looks. They're bizarre even by Olsen twin standards. What rendered us speechless is that we cannot critique any single aspect of either outfit. It's not like we can say, "Oh, if the hem was shorter/the neckline doesn't work/we would have suggested blahblahblah." No, kittens. The only thing we can say in response is, "HELL no." There is literally not one thing about either outfit that works. They both look utterly ridiculous. And they both look 50 years older than their age. Seriously. That's got to be a record.
Which means, of course, OUT.
