In or Out: Faith Hill at Bryant Park

Time to judge a judge, don't you think?

Enough with the parties and the drama and the airkisses and the insults, darlings. Let's judge someone's outfit, the way God intended us to do.

Y'know, there was a lot of bitching about Faith Hill as a judge and we didn't agree. Yeah, the show relies on the opinions of celebrities more than it used to, but having a celebrity for the finale is not exactly unheard of and she was no worse than Parker Posey or Debra Messing. She was genuinely into it and had something to say about every designer and every outfit that was discussed. We had no problems. Sure, "I would totally wear that" reared its head more than once but we never really got the impression the judges were doing anything but listening politely to her.

Anyway, let's assess:

Marchesa Fall 2010 Collection

Model: Regina Feoktistova

Girl ain't dumb wearing the Marchesa for a Weinstein production, that's for sure. We have several thoughts: We like the silhouette and we love her hair, makeup and jewelry. On the other hand, we don't love the way the jacket's constructed (looks like an unfolded paper airplane) and we really don't like the shoes, especially since she duplicated the runway look exactly. Plus the tuxedo stripe on the pant looks like a cliche. We're gonna have to say OUT on this one.
