Here's a good example of what we mean when we say someone "knows how to wear clothes." Compare the runway shot with the Halle shots. Notice anything? Halle's version of the dress is far more fitted than the runway version. In fact, it's downright tight. On a woman who maybe doesn't have the skills or confidence to pull it off, a skin tight dress with a skin-baring slit on the torso could come off looking perhaps a little vulgar. Not so with Halle. She makes it look downright elegant. There isn't one wrong note here (okay, maybe the smokey eye is a little heavy). She went light on the embellishments: one cuff and a simple pair of pumps. Good choices, because, again, had she dressed it up with a lot of jewelry or attention-getting shoes, it could have looked a little tacky. Instead, she looks cool, creamy, and classic. In short, she looks incredible. And the bitch doesn't age.
