In or Out: Heidi Klum

It's short. It's shiny. But for once, it's not tight.

Heidi Klum attends the 18th Annual Elton John AIDS Foundation Academy Award Party at Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood, California.

We gasped when we saw the pictures this morning. We LOVE this look on her. If there's any current celebrity who can pull off a pitch perfect Julie Christie/Brigitte Bardot homage it's our gal Heidi. The nude lip color, the heavy eye makeup, the perfectly tousled hair piled high -- it all suits her so well.

Now, we'll grant you, the dress, while very fabulous, also looks a tiny bit cheap in the closeups. We're still trying to find out who designed it. The thing is, when you look like Heidi and when you pair the dress with such perfect styling, it really doesn't matter that much if it looks a little cheap. It's a perfectly realized look on the one person most qualified to pull it off. A very enthusiastic IN.
