At age 15, Lima finished first in Ford's "Supermodel of Brazil" competition, and took second place the following year in the Ford "Supermodel of the World" competition before signing with Elite Model Management in New York City.

Adriana Lima is pregnant

Coming off the back of a Fall Givenchy campaign it has been revealed that model Adriana Lima and basketball player Marko Jaric of the Memphis Grizzlies are expecting their first inhumanly tall child this Winter.

We previously reported that the couple were married in Jackson Hole, Wyoming in February of this year and reps report that the couple are "overjoyed" and "excited to share the happy news and start their family together."
